Jonathan Moore, DPM
Dr. Jonathan Moore received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine Degree from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in 1999. He subsequently completed a three year podiatric medical/surgical residency including a one year Diabetic Foot Fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center. Dr. Moore became the first foot & ankle surgeon to be appointed staff privileges at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. Dr. Moore is widely published on numerous foot and ankle related topics and serves on multiple professional boards. Dr. Moore was also recently named as one of Podiatry Management's most influential podiatric physicians in America. Dr. Moore resides in Somerset with his wife Kim and their three children, Gabriel, Audrey and Jonathan.
Pamela Jensen, DPM
Dr. Pamela Jensen-Stanley is a graduate from the College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery in DesMoines, Iowa. She completed her primary podiatric and surgical residency training at the prestigious University of Texas in San Antonio, Texas with an emphasis in Diabetes and Diabetic Wound Care. She is published on numerous diabetic and wound care related topics.
Dr. Jensen-Stanley moved to Kentucky to join Cumberland Foot & Ankle in 2003 and formalized the partnership in 2005. She is currently Lower Extremity Wound Specialist at the Russell County Wound Care Center and Director of the Podiatry Wound Care Center at Cumberland Foot and Ankle in Somerset, KY. Dr. Jensen-Stanley is now also on staff at Ft. Logan Hospital.
Dr. Jensen-Stanley resides in Somerset with her husband, Dallas, her step-son, Logan, and daughter, Sierra. Dr. Jensen-Stanley is active in Somerset Rotary and the American Cancer Society. She is also a lifetime member of Alpha Phi Omega, an International Co-ed Community Service Fraternity.
Christopher Miller, DPM

Dr.Chris Miller, originally from Cincinnati obtained his Bachelor of Science from the University of Cincinnati and attended medical school at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed a 3 year Podiatric Medical and Surgical residency at the prestigious Mercy Hospital of Pittsburgh, which recently merged with The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He is trained in all aspects of foot and ankle surgery, specifically diabetic foot care and foot and ankle orthopedics.
Dr Miller joined Cumberland Foot and Ankle in 2005 and became partner in 2007. He is currently on staff at Lake Cumberland Regional, St. Joseph London, Clinton County, and Baptist Hospitals. He is taking new patients in Somerset, Monticello, Albany, Whitley City and Russell Springs locations.
Jamie Settles Carter, DPM

Dr. Jamie Settles Carter, a native Kentuckian having been born and raised in Mt. Vernon, attended Eastern Kentucky University for undergraduate studies and then completed her medical education at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleavland, Ohio. Dr. Carter completed an esteemed 3-year surgical residency training program at Dayton Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio with a focus toward diabetic wound care and limb salvage. Dr. Carter is well trained in all aspects of foot and ankle surgery, she is also well versed in the latest techniques and procedures for heel pain, diabetes, ingrown toenails, and all other common foot and ankle conditions.
Dr. Carter resides in the Mt. Vernon area with her husband Jody.
She is currently accepting new patients at our Corbin, London, Williamsburg and Barbourville locations.
Denita McDonald, ARNP
Denita received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Western Kentucky University in 1997 and she obtained her Master's Degree of Science in Nursing also from Western in 2002. Denita received Top Academic Award in her BSN and MSN Classes. She is an ANCC Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and is also a member of the Kentucky Coalition of Nurse Practitioners & Midwives.
Denita and her husband Chris reside in Nancy with their daughters, Mallory, Ashlyn and Jordyn.
Denita is currently accepting new patients for both podiatric and family care in our Somerset and Monticello locations.
Joseph Skurka, DPM
Dr. Skurka attended Michigan State University for his undergraduate studies and received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine Degree from Barry University in Miami, Florida. After graduating he completed a resident training program at the Dayton Veteran Affairs Medical Center in Ohio. The residency is a 3-year comprehensive training program, focusing on aspects of both clinical and surgical care of the foot and ankle. Dr. Skurka has a special interest in the medical and surgical management of the diabetic foot.
Dr. Skurka resides in the Danville, Boyle County area where he will provide foot and ankle care at the Danville, Stanford and Somerset locations. He is now accepting new patients.
